It Is Really Hard To...
It is really hard to take pictures with a cat. Mr. Kitty believes when I am on the backdrop, he should be on the backdrop. Problem is, he attacks my feet.

Multiplicity
Let's face it. I've got an issue with the spectacles. I figure if you have to wear them, they might as well be unusual and noticeable and my new pair that arrived yesterday are definitely noticeable. I got them at Zennioptical and I adore them! They are crazy and they are fun and they are NOT what typical accountants wear and that makes them perfect for me! There's another pair on the way from Warby Parker and they are also unusual, but not quite as crazy as these. You change your underwear everyday, so why shouldn't you change your glasses? Just as essential. Just.As.Essential.

Snowjoe Vs Cat
Our snow blower was delivered today and us old folks are thrilled that the tyranny that is shoveling ends RIGHT NOW. Power to the machines! Mr. Kitty was also quite fond of our newest edition and checked it out in grand kitty style.
I'm still in a more conservative mood this week. I think it's because of the weather. So not too much in the head spinning pattern mixing going on because it's just too cold to think.

The Crash
On Friday, my stupid computer that's less than a year old crashed...big time. My poor husband spent two days recovering everything. So far, it's working ok, but I'm having to reinstall apps that he had to delete to be able to get it back working. We have no idea what went down, but whatever happened was really really bad.
Overnight, we got a snowstorm. Only about 4 inches of snow, but it wreaked havoc on my morning commute and Dave and I spent about an hour shoveling our driveway so that we could leave for work. Tomorrow, it's supposed to be bitterly cold. You know, it was 55 degrees on Sunday. Love me some Ohio weather.

Elephants on Parade
On New Year's Eve, Kira and I popped into Ann Taylor because they were having 60% off all their sales items. I purchased four new lovely oxfords for a steal and when we were checking out, my eye wandered over to a display they had set up and noticed an elephant bracelet and necklace. I'd seen them online, but they were kind of pricey at the time, so I ignored them. However, on NYE, they were also on sale and also 60% off. Now they are mine! Kira was literally mortified that I purchased a necklace with elephants and was even further annoyed that I'm wearing them. To make matters worse, I decided to pair them with my elephant oxford cause yeah, I am that kind of mom. At least I don't walk around in a housecoat....yet.
