About 9:00 last night, I realized I hadn't posted for the day. The blog lost out to a book I'm reading, so today I'm posting what I wore yesterday plus what I'm currently wearing. I saw this mint green jacket in People Stylewatch and decided I really really needed it. It took forever for it to show up online at Loft and low and behold, it appeared last weekend with a 50% off sale. MINE! I also bought this shirt at J Crew online. It's part of their Spring line and I actually pre ordered it, which I don't normally do because by the time it comes, I've forgotten about it and haven't factored it into my spending for the month when it arrives. I don't like monetary surprises. However, this shirt really called to me, so I broke my normal rule and purchased it. It's actually light blue, but it goes well with mint green.
I threw this outfit together last night so I wouldn't have to worry about ironing this morning. I bought the blouse on Ebay a couple of months ago when I was trying to find something to go under a purple sweater. The length is a little short, so I'll have to remember to wear a t-shirt under it next time so it doesn't drive me nuts!
