Farewell 2014

Wow, another year behind us.  I can't believe it's already NYE because it is seriously still August in my head.  I'm not sure where the last five months went, but I'm sure they were spent on a soccer field!

Anyway, here's a recap of some of my favorite looks from this year.  As I scrolled through all the pictures this morning, I definitely think I'm going to tame back my pattern mixing next year. We'll see what happens!

Enjoy the day and be safe tonight!

Catty

Kira and I are on vacation this week and I decided to rip apart my master bedroom and deep clean it cause I live that kind of wild and exciting life.  When I cleaned off Dave's side table and moved it to vacuum, "someone" decided it was the neatest perch EVER.  This was, in fact, the third table Mr. Kitty decided to try out while I cleaned.  He also tunneled underneath our bed.  He's a crafty little minx!  I never realized how hard it was to do stuff with a cat.

Christmas Blessings

I accidentally took the week off from blogging.  I didn't mean to, but I worked two days this past week and then frantically had to get stuff ready to host my in-laws for Christmas Eve.  We then voted and had sloth day on Christmas day and then had to make up for it the rest of the weekend.  Kira and I are off all this coming week and I'm looking forward to lots of loafing!

Golden Hearts

I did not realize until looking at these shots that I really really should have worn a camisole under this shirt.  I hope my co-workers enjoyed the flashing.

Pushing It

Today is my dad's birthday.  He passed away right before my birthday last year and today marks the second year without him.  I had a weird dream last night where I plugged in my straight iron into a toilet paper stack and then changed the "outlet" the iron was plugged into and it caught fire.  I proceeded to run the "TP outlet" to the kitchen sink before the plastic wrap and the TP roll melted.  In my little dream world, I put the fire out and called my dad to tell him what happened.  He gave me some advice on what else I needed to make sure was secure before calling my fire fighting skills a success and before we got off the phone, I told him I loved him.  Super weird dream, but somehow, I know he heard me.
