Kira tried out on Monday for the talent show. Her talent...playing the guitar. She played the Star Spangled Banner and she practiced it for weeks before the try outs. I am pleased as punch that she made it in! She also is the opening act, which totally makes sense given what she's playing! This is the third time she's made it into the show and I'm very proud of her because not everyone makes it into the show. The first time she tried out, we choreographed a jump rope routine. The second time, she did a hula hoop routine to some stomping song. Now we're showcasing her softer talent. I can't wait for the show!
