You Can't Miss Me!



These pants are BRIGHT!  I didn't realize just how much so until I got dressed in the morning.  I liked the outfit, though.  I wound up salsa dancing in my work's cafeteria for charity during lunch today, so really, my festive pants fit the occassion!

I spent all day yesterday doing the mommy thing for my daughter's 8th birthday, so sorry about the lack of posting.  Some days I think I could be a stay at home mom, and then when  I go back to work, I realize I need to work!

Lucky Days

This was my outfit yesterday.  It was a lousy, stressful day at work, but at least my outfit looked good.  That helped the day sort of be ok.

Hopefully, today will be a better day!

My New Friend

I have a lot of purses, but I can't resist buying new ones.  This is the latest in my collection.  Isn't it adorable?

Sunday

It is gorgeous outside today, so we took our photo shoot outside.  I think the neighbors think we're nuts. 

Channeling Mr. Rogers

It's cold today.  I'm cold today.  So I went through my closet looking for the warmest thing I could find next to big fluffy sweat pants and this is what I came up with.  My daugher saw me taking pictures in the bathroom mirror and she decided that would not do at all.  So we took the photo session outside.  We quickly finished the session because....it's cold.   Happy Saturday!

In the Red Week FINALE!!!

I am really glad I can wear pastels tomorrow.  This has been a challenging week wearing red since it isn't my favorite color, but I did it and I've worn a lot of the red items that have been sitting idle in my closet for months.  Now I can justify keeping them....well, all except maybe yesterday's jacket.  Unless I dye it.  We'll see what happens.

In the Red Day 4

Ok, one more day to go on my red challenge.  I seriously dislike this jacket.  I like the shape, I like how it fits, but I strongly dislike the color. I forgot I owned this jacket due to the aforementioned dislike of the color, but since we had casual day today and I was unprepared, this got pulled out.

All day long, I sat and thought, what color could I dye this?  I'm thinking the only color that would work is black.  Or, I try to bleach and see if it comes out more pinky in color because I love the color  pink.  I think if the dye works, this will be a more well worn article of clothing. 

I bought the garnet ring almost 8 years ago because it matched my bridesmaid dress in my cousin's wedding.  Yes, I am that insane and bought a ring to match a bridesmaid dress!

My daughter is totally on board with red week.  When I picked her up after school today, she pulled my coat back to make sure I was wearing red.  She keeps me honest!
