Forgotten

I kind of forgot I owned this dress.  It's pretty comfortable with lots of colors in it to appease my matching tendencies.  The only issue with it is it's kind of short, so I have to be careful when I sit or I flash people.  I think some people at work got an eye full a couple of times today!

Love Affair

For some reason, I've been in a dress mood this week.  I think it's because it's now Spring (ha ha) and I feel like wearing lighter weight clothes despite the fact that it is still FREEZING outside.   I'm still on a mint green kick and decided to try to pair it with this yellow and grey/black dress.  I was really pleased with how it turned out.

Plaid Day

 I received a ton of compliments on my outfit today and I threw it together at the last minute this morning.  I had the blazer and dress ironed and ready to go, but when I looked in the mirror, it just needed something.  So I buttoned the blazer, added a belt and went with my trusty pearls.  Voila.

The blazer is really old and I thought I'd never completely fit in it again.  When I put it on this morning, it was just a tad big.  BIG, not LITTLE! Hurray!!

Ever Have a Day Where....

Nothing particularly bad has happened, but everything is upsetting you?  I'm having one of those days today.  Work is very stressful, we're leaving on vacation this weekend and getting ready for that is very stressful, Kira is having some issues at daycare with another little girl and that is stressful and honestly, all I want to do is kick back and read a book and have everyone just leave me alone.  I really think I need this vacation.

I love this outfit. I've had it a while, but haven't worn it yet and I received numerous compliments today.

Yesterday, a woman at work commented on how she liked my style.  She said most people just wear clothes and I dress for my personality.  It honestly made my day!

It's been a busy evening. My husband's car battery died in the parking lot of a local sporting goods store tonight and Kira and I had to go rescue him, wait for his car to be jumped and then we followed him to the battery place to make sure he got there ok and got a battery.  It took a chunk of our evening, but all is well now!

Walking on Sunshine

I  need to work on my morning smiles.  Usually I am taking these pictures at around 6:30 a.m. after a 45 minute commute to work after getting up at 4:50 a.m. Needless to say, I'm a bit sleepy when I arrive.  I just noticed my morning scowl is as bad as the time for bed scowl I just received from my daughter.  Hmmmm, could be a sleepy family trait!

I love this dress, though.  I saw it in a flyer the Limited sent me and I had to have it!  I even went to two separate stores to find nail polish to match.  You can't see it in the pictures, but I'm wearing Sephora's Cab Fare.

Bright!

I am so tired.  Thunderstorms rolled through the area at 4:04 a.m.  Yes, I know the exact time because it's the exact time I woke up.  I have been a zombie all day.  Now, I'm off to play Monopoly with Kira.
