The Dotted Line

One of our goldfish got trapped underneath the bridge in our aquarium and died this morning.  I forewarned Kira the other goldfish isn't looking too hot right now either.  We've had this group of fish for quite some time, so it's always a little sad to see one go. 

On a happier note, Kira scored three goals at her soccer game this morning!

Green Hornet

Sitting on the couch tonight, I saw something drop from the ceiling out of the corner of my eye.  I knew it was some form of bug and I didn't think much about it until I looked at what it was and saw that it was a hornet.  Now it had to be dealt with.  I told Kira to back up, ran and got a bowl and stuck it on top of it.  Then I went and got something heavy and stuck it on top of the bowl.  I now have a hornet stuck in a bowl and I'm betting it's pretty ticked.  When Dave got home, I told him about the situation and he winced and said, "We better have Orkin spray the inside of the house."  I don't think he's dealing with the bug.  I'm ok with waiting this out because I am certainly not dealing with the situation.  I captured it and my work is done here.

Anyway, I just bought this jacket at Banana Republic and I looooovvvve it.  I'm also still in my matching phase, so you'll noticed that the green in the jacket matches the necklace and matches my pants. Ta da!

Swirls

This is another outfit I've had ready to go for a while, but haven't gotten around to wearing.  I hunted all around in the fall for a mustard skirt because I just had to have one, purchased this, and then it sat in my closet until today.  Some may say I have too many clothes, but I just think of it as having many options to chose from.

Bubble Gum

 

It's Friday!!!!!!  Super duper hurray!!!  At 6:00 tonight, Kira comes running out of her room with her pajamas on.  I asked Dave if we're going anywhere tonight and he says "Nope" and so I race off to put my pajamas on.  Honestly, Kira's idea was GREAT!  Now, we're both sitting on the couch, comfy clothes on, just chillin'.  What a great way to spend the evening!

 

I was really pleased with my outfit today.  It hung together really well and my giant bubble gum necklace was actually pretty comfortable to wear all day.  It is sixty degrees outside right now, so the shortened boyfriend jeans made sense even though it's January!

Epcot Dots

 I  love this blouse, but it reminds me of the giant ball at Epcot.  Not sure why, but it just does.  I bought this blouse on ebay and it's vintage Ann Taylor.  A couple of little modifications later, and it's very wearable.  It had these giant shoulder pads in it that had to go!
