Golf Anyone?

I honestly look like I'm going golfing today.  Don't get me wrong, I would repeat this outfit in a heartbeat, and I loved the sweater so much, I bought it in both colors J Crew had.  It took me until lunch today to realize that I perfectly matched my belt with my necklace.  That was a complete accident!!!

Happy Birthday Baby

 

Today is my baby girl's ninth birthday.  I can't believe how big she's getting!  The festiveness you see in the background is for her birthday.  I think I'm done decorating for the party, but tonight I have to make a lot of icing for the cupcakes the girls are going to decorate at her party on Sunday.

It is really pleasant outstide today, so I took some time and went outside to snap these shots.  Most of

the snow has melted, but the rain moves in tonight.  Oh well, it's almost Spring!

Some Days, I Don't Wanna Do Battle

Kira has been going to bed way too late over the past couple of nights for legitimate reasons, but it's messing with her attitude.  Friday night, we stayed up late discussing how to handle a little girl who's being a pain in the bottom at daycare and last night we were at my parents celebrating an early Father's Day.  She slept until after 9 this morning, but still she's a bit of a bear.   I didn't even ask her to take pictures this morning because I didn't want to get into it with her.  

 These shoes are super cute, but they kind of hurt.  I'm hoping to stretch them out at church since I'll only have to wear them for two hours today.

 I love that bright colors are in this season. I'm totally in my element!

Sort of Preppy

 After a very long five day weekend, it was back to the grind today.  Now I have two people on maternity leave and until the vacant spot is filled in our department, I'm working my old job and my new job concurrently.  I just want to dive right into my new job responsibilities, but the old job just keeps tugging me back in.  Hopefully by August, I'll be able to leave the old world behind and move on to greener pastures!
