Tipsy

I have a polka dot and stripe fixation, but I also am very enamored with the color navy blue.  And when you add anything "tipped" to my navy, I am just giddy.  Truly truly giddy.

I bought this blazer at Banana Republic last winter and I love it.  It goes with lots of stuff in my closet and is cozy to wear all day.  That came in handy today because we didn't have much heat until this afternoon.  When the heat finally kicked in, it was blazing hot in the office.  There's no happy in between, so I'm going to have to continue to layer.

Off to Nebraska

 It's not glamorous, but I'm headed off to Nebraska tomorrow for work. That's where our corporate headquarters is located and I'm going out for a meeting.  There's a ton of us from Ohio going out there tomorrow, so at least I'll have someone to eat dinner with.  I'm all packed and checked in with the airlines, so I'm going to go enjoy the rest of my Sunday starting with Kira's soccer match.   It's a short trip, so I'll be back to posting probably Wednesday or Thursday, but I won't be able to post Monday and Tuesday. Hope everyone has a good week!

FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's Friday and I am very very very very very glad.  I spent a chunk of the day hunkered down in my office preparing for a big meeting on Monday and I am really tired.  I will be traveling to Nebraska on Monday for the meeting, so my posts will be sporadic next week.  I should be back to normal on Thursday (maybe Wednesday if I get back on time!)  I'll try to take outfit shots in my hotel room.

The Blues

 Today was a casual day for charity and I busted out the blues for today.  I like each piece individually, but I'm not so sure I like them together.  At least it was comfortable!

It's Friday

It is Friday and I am glad.  My niece is spending the weekend with us, so we should be having some epic fun over the next two days.

I'm pleased with how this outfit turned out, but when I was taking off the necklace this evening, I broke the clasp.  I think I can fix it if I buy another clasp.  We shall see how my DIY works out!
